Our story
A small label, built around one very good pair of pajamas.
Noah & She started the way most small things do — with a specific, stubborn wish. We wanted pajamas that felt soft on the first night and stayed soft on the fiftieth. Nothing scratchy at the neck, nothing stiff at the cuff, no prints that cracked after a wash.
Nene Kids is the answer: a tight collection of two hand-drawn prints, cut in 100% organic cotton jersey. A dozing lamb in dove grey for anyone, and a crowned swan in peach under a scatter of gold stars.
We keep the range small on purpose. Two prints, three sizes, one price. It means we can be careful about the cotton we choose and the people who sew it, instead of chasing a new drop every month.
Designed in Canada. Made in India.
Every print and pattern is drawn and graded here in Canada. The sets are then cut and sewn by a long-standing family-run workshop in India that specialises in organic cotton knits for children — people who have been doing this far longer than we have.
The cotton is certified organic: grown without synthetic pesticides, and finished without the harsh treatments that make new clothes feel crisp and then rough.
